The chicken coop at the Urban Farm

The bridge that Bruce built at the Urban Farm

The two regular, feline Grace and Mainers at the house on Moffett St

The garden keeps growing.

A stone left near one of the Urban Farm beds — a worthy reminder

A cross that Bruce built a few years back being filled by vines that God built

Some work gloves left at the Urban Farm just waiting for hands to fill them

We closed the greenhouse earlier this summer because of the heat, but some seeds escaped and took root!

Roving Feast lunches

Taking a break and enjoying the clear skies and nice weather.

Bird feeders are an ever present reminder of God’s loving presence at many Grace and Main houses.

A mother and son at one hospitality house put together a nice surprise for another one of our folks. This day, love included a Capri Sun.

Working at the Urban Farm

The “salad patch” of one of our garden’s leaders is coming up.

Hard at work at the Urban Farm.

Still lots of work to do at the Urban Farm

Working in a community plot to grow food to share

There’s time to pose for a photo while waiting for coffee at one of the houses.

Grace and Main was welcomed warmly to this year’s Nurturing Communities Project gathering of intentional communities from all around North America. We were welcomed into the home of a lovely Bruderhof family for a few days.

Community means making time for ice cream and not being worried about getting it all over yourself.

The Bruderhof mud kitchen was a hit with one little community member.

It may be fall, but salad is still growing and the garden still needs tending.
